cannot reply to newsgroup messages

I am not able to reply to newsgroup messages. I can read the article, i
click reply type my message, hit send and nothing! WHY? any ideas? This is
getting really old, i had it working earlier now it does not work.

Probably there might be numerous reasons. It may be a shot in the dark. Make
sure all messages you send are in plain Text not HTML. Perhaps your reader
cannot read your own message sent in Html? Read messages in plain text
option should be unchecked. It is all in Tools==>Options==>Read/Send

After installing Windows Live Mail I stopped being able to post to MS groups
too. Have checked and re-checked everything but I can only post from Google
if I have a question. Hope someone has an answer as to why posting ability
suddenly stopped.

You may want to consider getting a different newsreader (I've never been
satisfied with Outlook Express and now Live Mail). At the moment I use
Pan (you'll need to install gtk+ for Windows) on both my Windows and
Linux machines. There's also Gravity, Forte Agent, Thunderbird, and
others I can't think of at the moment.

maybe your glasses need cleaning.

maybe your shoes are on the wrong feet.

if none of these apply.
then maybe you can post some information as to the problem.
like errors that pop up or other pertinent information that may help someone give assistance.

I have considered using another newsreader , but....my other newsgroups
(Usenet) come through loud and clear. I'm only having the problem with WLM
and it only started happening after I installed WLM from WM.
