Desktop error dialog box :-xxwur.exe

Recently, upon completion of logging in , the first window in the desktop
show a error dialog box with the following message...

"Could not load or run 'C:\Users\collinch\AppData\Local\Temp\xxwur.exe'
specified in the registry. Make sure the file exists on your computer or
remove the reference to it in the registry."

I am a single user. Please advise me on how to get rid of this window.

No legitimate program will launch from the Temp Folder, That`s a virus
or piece of spyware, I recommend running "Spybot Search & destroy"
freely available or a virus scan.

Hi,

From the start/search line, run regedit. Expand the branches to reach:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run

Click on the Run key in the left pane. Locate the string in the right pane
that loads that file, click on it and hit the <delete> key. The string is
loading or trying to load malware and you don't want it.
