language interface pack

Hello I bought a laptop with vista home basic (in Chicago) for my
mother-in-law who speaks russian. i can't seem to install a russian language
interface pack so that she can use the computer (she isn't proficient enough
in English). Can you point me to a download site for said language pack. i
did download a LIP but is was part of the MUI for Vista Ultimate.
What are my options if I want to have the interface in Russian.

The options here, you need to upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate. The
language interfaces are a specific feature of Windows Vista Enterprise (for
Corporate customers) and Vista Ultimate (for individuals who need such
functionality.
