Re: running vista' freecell on xp
Apps native to Vista (compiled for that O/S) have a different header in the
..exe file than previous versions of Windows. Microsoft made changes to the
header to make it more resistant to tampering by viruses. Because of this,
previous versions of Windows will not recognize Vista apps as being
executible files. Nothing you can do about this, sorry.
Maybe (unlikely), Microsoft will release a patch (SP3?) for XP that gives it
Vista-App execution ability, but don't hold your breath.
