Logon Screen
Hi all,
Is there a way to not show the logon screen? I would like to go from the
boot screen directly to my desktop and not see the logon screen at all.
Using Vista Ultimate.
Thanks in advance,
Alice

The instructions at this link work for both XP and Vista:

Configure Windows to Automatically Login (MVP Ramesh) -

Re: Logon Screen
Thanks for the reply,
I've done all that. I don't see my name anymore but the welcome screen is
still there (but does auto logon) doing I don't know what.

The "Welcome" screen is loading your desktop. There is no way to simply go
from the boot screen directly to the desktop, the desktop (and all your
related settings/startup programs) have to be loaded at some point, and it's
during the Welcome screen that this happens.
