You keep babbling about topics you obviously have NO knowledge

Hi crazy.
I see your great expertise in everything allows you to spot the "errors"
everyone else on the planet makes with such ease.
It makes me wonder why there are any problems left to be solved when we have
a great know it all like you to help us.

Well duh... copyright issues happen to be another topic I do indeed
have considerable experience with. But since you prefer to pontificate
rather than learn, you have my permission to make a fool of yourself.
Again. THAT is something you are obviously are quite capable at as
you've already demonstrated. Knock yourself out. ;-)

You might start to explain how you start to "own the copyright" by writing
it in RTF instead.
I am sure this will make for a good laugh again, as all your claims are
idiotic beyond imagination

So when did the copyright on a 1752 bit of text expire then?
Would that be 1802 or do you think the 100 year rule actually exists?
Either way the text of The Bible is not copyright and there is nothing you
can do about it.
If you want to argue about if a 1998 printed bible that contains that text
is copyright then find someone else who thinks it isn't to argue with you
moron.
As for your knowledge of copyright issues its the same as the rest of your
knowledge.. only applicable to the imaginary world that you live in.
It will be ignored just like everything else you suggest.

The same reason I own the copyright of this post.
If you don't understand that then you have no hope of understanding why
changing the format of the text of The Bible makes it copyright to the
person that does it.

You are idiotic but not beyond my imagination, I doubt if there is anything
you aren't stupid enough to do.

Dennis, you sadly leave little doubt that you are little more than
another raving lunatic that babbles nonsense. You must be related to
Frank. Dennis, you should admit you LIKE me slapping you around. Is it
a sexual fetish for you? You into S&M too?
Now lets briefly look at your moronic claim you can "own the
copyright" if you just change the format.
One publisher of bibles in the NIV version is International Bible
Society. Now you're foolishly suggesting that you can in effect copy
their work and call it your own. Well I beg to differ. Starting with
the name NIV (New International Version) that happens to be registered
as a trademark in the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Use
of it requires written permission of the International Bible Society.
As is typical they have restrictions as to how THEIR WORK may or may
not be duplicated, even quoted. See below:
"These Scriptures may not be altered or modified in any form but must
remain in their original context. These Scriptures may not be sold or
otherwise offered for sale--to include online banner ads that
encapsulate linkages to these Scriptures for the purpose of selling
online ad space. These Scriptures are free for all online use. These
Scriptures are not public domain. These Scriptures are not shareware
and may not be duplicated."
"When quotations from the NIV text are used in non-salable media such
as church bulletins, orders of service, posters, transparencies or
similar media, a complete copyright notice is not required, but the
initial NIV must appear at the end of each quotation."
"Any commentary or other Biblical reference work produced for
commercial sale that uses the New International Version must obtain
written permission for the use of the NIV text. Permission requests
for commercial use within the U.S. and Canada that exceed the above
guidelines must be directed to, and approved in writing by, Zondervan,
5300 Patterson Avenue SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49530."
"Permission requests for commercial use within the U.K., EEC, and EFTA
countries that exceed the above guidelines must be directed to, and
approved in writing by, Hodder & Stoughton Ltd., a member of the
Hodder Headline Plc. Group, 338 Euston Road, London NW1 3BH."
Other publishers have similar restrictions on other versions of bibles
and ALL are protected by copyright laws just like any book is.
Now Dennis, when will you admit you were totally wrong?

LOL
Want to make you life easier? I use to see 300-500 messages per day in
this group, but for the first time in a very LONG time I've implemented
a kill filter.
I've setup the following filter:
Subject contains "Linux"
Or
Subject contains "Ubuntu"
Or
Body contains "Ubuntu"
Or
Body contains "Linux"
Or
From contains "Adam Albright"
Now it's a pleasure to read the group again.

Proves what a dummy you are. You didn't filter out Frank. The biggest
