Can you provide a link discussing a trial edition for 6000? The only trial
I recall being mentioned was for Office 2007.

Andre may have been misreading the announcement of the Office trial. I
don't think anyone confirmed it with a link to an announcement of a Vista
trial. I have seen that original comment picked up and repeated a few
times, but it looks unfounded to me. The only XP trial edition I can
remember was XP Pro x64 but 64bit hardware driver scarcity at the time
necessitated that.

A trial for Windows XP was available shortly after release 5 years ago.
IIRC, it was available for about a year.
You can still get it with some Microsoft books such MCDST.

Oh well, Nothing ventured nothing gained.
The office trial Beta started way back (I think) in September cause I have it.
I haven't seen anything for an Office RTM trial?
