If you were a regular in this newsgroup longer then you have been and
followed what Alias has said, you would know he has tried Vista some
time back.

The irrational angst, anger and mindless babbling by characters like
you, Frank and the entire mob of moronic fanboy ding-a-lings and a few
ill-behaved up-tight MVPs is what causes the noise in this newsgroup,
not the occasional person engaging in some harmless ranting because
they've encountered some difficulties using Vista and are letting off
a little steam. Hint: That's how newsgroups are suppose to function.
In part as an escape valve, especially when companies like Microsoft
give no real free customer support.

The BEST way to learn if Vista is suitable for your needs is being
able to calmly discuss what issues other users have encountered using
it. That simply isn't tolerated in this goofy one of a kind half-ass
newsgroup because of idiots like Frank who foolishly think they need
to defend what they foolishly think is Microsoft's turf.

Frank doesn't belong in this newsgroup. He belongs in some mental
institution, in a straightjacket, in a padded room under heavy
sedation and constant observation. Frank is a NUT and single handedly
starts or expands every argument here because he really is a
psychopath.

I commented about it before it ever came out. So? I bought a copy
recently to check it out personally and didn't care for it. I will sell
it I am sure but I don't plan to take a loss.

to buy it for yo. Vista cost about Jamaican $30,000 here because of the
exchange rate.

Yeah, it's overpriced here but the dollar cost is deceptive. We are used
to euros here and, in euros, it was a little more than 500 euros. I'm
going to keep it around and reinstall it when the DX10 games come out
along with SP2.
