cant download msi files

Hi,

I have tried to download quicktime for i dont know how many times now, ive
went on hp chat support at least 3 or 4 times and they cant help me. but it
seem to be that i can't download any msi files. because i tried downloading
soemthing for norton (a msi file) and the same message popped up.

message is: "windows has found a problem with this file" and "blocked
because it does not have valid digital signature that verifies its
publisher". AHH its so frustrating i really hope someone can help me.

Don't use Internet Explorer. Use Firefox.
That won't prevent problems on Vista but
it will at least stop the download restrictions.
(And it may stop a few drive-by downloads as a bonus.
