Sidebar RSS Feed Gadget Won't Update Automatically

I've Googled this and can't seem to find anything regarding this show.

I'm on a brand-new installation of Vista Home Premium and right from the
start, the RSS feed gadget wouldn't update.

Hitting F5 on a feed website in IE7 manually updates it, but even after
adding msfeedssync.exe to Windows Firewall, it still won\t update
automatically.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Same problem here. Spent an hour with "microsoft" tech who was able to get
new feeds to update but not the default news feed that is loaded with vista.
Pretty sure problem deals with a date change issue, however haven't found
where it is yet. Sorry about the last attempt to post.

I'm having the same problem. Darn thing hasn't updated since late
November. Any new info on this? Pretty much worthless as is.
