Vista 64bit?
I have a copy of Vista 64bit and have it installed right now. It is Home
Premium version. A friend of mine just bought Vista Home Premium too and he
wants to install 64bit version but hasn't ordered his 64bit disk yet. Can he
use my Vista 64bit disk with his serial code or is he required to use his
own copy?

RE: Vista 64bit?
The source disk doesn't matter.
It's one copy of _a unique license_ per machine.
The license is a combination of the Product Key and a unique Device
Signature (activation.) Neither are contained on any disk.

You can pick up multiple copies of the disks (for a nominal fee which varies
depending on which website you order from: $7 or $10) from Microsoft. Without
the license, they are basically worthless for sustained use.
