Tiger woods 2005 & COD World at war

I am in Afghanistan currently, I ordered Tiger woods 2005 I installed the full version of the game. I put in the disk to run the game. It didn't work. I Checked out the crash system help from the cd's. I did a disk clean up & defrag. I have also tried to run the game in xp mode & as an administrator. Nothing has worked so far? I checkout another post related to Woods 2005, I am currently downloading the DirectX End-User Runtimes. I have read that manufactures will add this the the license of the games. If this doesn't work i will need more help.

World at War i had installed before i came here. I played it for a couple of days then, the game wouldn't open? I got to the first screen "play game" after i clicked on it, the game does what it normally would do, but then never went into the start up of the game? On my task menu processes it says that the process is running but no game. I defraged uninstalled everything for the game including the registry for anything of it. I re-installed the game & the same thing happen? I am wondering if it is the same issue that woods 2005 is having?

Some might be wondering why i would have internet in Afghanistan? My platoon purchased a sat, & i hooked everything up Programed it & our company far out their has communications with family & friends!
