FIFA acts as if in slo-mo
I've just bought a new PC, theoretically more powerful than my old one (AMD
64 X2 5000, 2048 MB RAM, ATI Radeon X1650 Pro 512 MB PCI-X), running Vista
Home Premium. The trouble is, whereas FIFA 07 was working fine on my old
machine (Vista Home Premium, AMD 64 3200, 1535 MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9550 256 MB
AGP), it is showing everything in slo-mo on the new machine. The game
settings, as well as the general display, VGA and hardware settings are the
same as on the old PC. Any idea what could be causing the problem? Thanks

Re: FIFA acts as if in slo-mo

I have this same problem with Worms Armageddon - no probs on XP, but
really slow on Vista for some reason. It doesn't LOAD slow, just RUNS
slow, like the slow motion you're describing. Unfortunately I don't have
the solution, is there anybody out there who can help us?

Re: FIFA acts as if in slo-mo
Well, I managed to solve the problem. I reinstalled windows and the game, and
this time I didn't use my profile and settings I had saved before but created
them anew. That was it! Problem solved. If you are using settings transferred
from a previous installation, try deleting them and reconfiguring the game.
Hope it works..

I have the same problem. And I tried to do as you advised but it still did
not work.
I have Centrino 2.0 GHZ, 2048 MB RAM, GeForce Go 6800 running Vista
Ultimate. The same problem occurs on EA SPORTS UEFA Champions League 2006-07.
