New ATI Drivers

Funny enough, my X1900XTX also gets a 5.8. Though I don't put too much into
the numbers and from what I've read, they are going to change. By this time
next year, the new high score might be a 7

End of the day, it's either fast enough for you or it isn't. Those numbers
don't really seem to have changed much. Some people still obsess over 10fps
difference in a benchmark when even the slowest card gets over 100fps, and
some people still try and run Supreme Commander on a laptop with an intel
950 and wonder why it's a slide-show. Same stuff, different OS.

I think I went beyond nuts a week or so ago *snork*
Good thing I exchanged it when I did, they have a 14 day return policy - if
I had waited on those new drivers from Logitech, I'd have been in for a
whole new fun set of problems.
The whole system is running well, now, betwen that and the updated video
drivers! I even got brave last night and went ahead with the anytime upgrade
to Ultimate. Not a single hitch! and all I can say about Dreamscene is -
wow!
