You usually want to use the program of the oldest expansion pack
installed on your system.
Sims 2 Deluxe (Double Deluxe?) installs The Sims 2 main game, and The
Sims 2 Nightlife (according to the website.
Since Nightlife is the oldest expansion you want to install that patch.
If you really want to be sure, download the Sims 2 DVD patch, and run it,
then install the Nightlife CD patch, the patches won't install if you
download the wrong ones so you can't mess it up.
