Hello,
I have had problems playing two of the latest point-and-click games
from City Interactive with Vista.
Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual
Art of Murder: Search for the Puppeteer
Both games install and load properly into the system. However, as soon
as you start playing the game, whenever the character wants to go and
talk to another person in the game, everything suddenly freezes
.
I emailed City Interactive with this problem, and they told me to
change my Sound Acceleration through dxdaig. After some confused
searching for dxdaig, and then a little hunting online, I found that you
CAN'T change the sound acceleration with Vista, and that I should revert
to XP if I want to play these games.
Has anyone been able to find a solution to this problem in Vista, or do
I have to revert to XP??
