It it possible create an Game Explorer item myself?

Ok, I have S.T.A.L.K.E.R. installed. And it is not certified for Windows
Vista. And there is no S.T.A.L.K.E.R. item in Game Explorer.
I`m draging shortcut of game to Game Explorer and yes, it is there. But -
without discription and 256x256 icon. So, can I add it myself?
I read MSDN about *gdf file, and, if I understand right, it is impossible.
But, may be, there is any other way to add info and high resolution icon to
game?
