Halo head scratcher
I'm running Vista Ultimate and trying to play Halo 1.07, now Halo it self
plays fine if not better than it did on XP but my problem is that while in
game I can't use other programs in Halo. For instance I can't speak on
TeamSpeak (TS is a program which allows me to communicate with other players
that I'm playing with, I can hear them talk I just can't talk back), I also
can't use my Logitec G5 configurable buttons (by that I mean a program that
allows me to assign buttons different tasks like button a will call a ctrl).
What I'm guessing is going on is that once Halo is up it's not letting
anything else run in conjunction. Any help on this would be great I've done
a lot of digging but whenever I try and search halo and Vista I get Halo 2
Vista lol.

Re: Halo head scratcher
Are you running Halo as an Admin, meaning did you launch the game with the
Run as administrator option ? I also heard that you need to run Teamspeak as
administrator as well.

Another test you can try, is to turn off the UAC, Go to control panel, User
accounts, Turn on\off the UAC and see if that works. if it does, then you'll
need to run those apps as administrator and possible XP2 compat mode for
them to work correctly in Vista, at least until they release a Vista ready
version.
