Half Life 2 issues
Hi guys, i just loaded HL2 onto my new laptop and the video is very choppy.
I have search all over for fixes, yet everything I have tried has not
worked. Has anyone had similar issues and ultimately fixes?

Drop the graphics down as low as they will go and you should get an "OK"
experience. Half Life's Physics engine takes a lot of CPU horse power and
Video Horse power that notebooks simply lack.

Unless you have a REALLY high end gaming notebook, good luck dude. And no, a
notebook Dual Core processor is nowhere near as fast as a desktop dual core,
and I won't even go into the video limitations.
