This sounds as though your video adapter in yor laptop is not up to specs.
It is possible that you haven't dedicated enough Video Memory to the adapter
in Windows or via the Bios. Try increasing the memory for your adapter
through the Display Adapter Control Panel or through your BIOS. That may fix
the problem.
