Game Explorer
I have been trying to figure out the game explorer and how it works. So far
I've installed about eight games, and not all of them have been recognized.
I installed Command and Conquer Generals and Zero Hour, which were not, and
Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun, which was. It lists the publisher, releash
date, and websites. It even lists it under the Strategy genre and has a good
resolution icon for it.

I know Vista automatically looks up the info for the games, but it surprises
me that it can find info for an eight year old game and not for one that is
more recent. I thought the trouble might be how the game was spelled - using
& and : - but aside from creating several shortcuts to the game using all
the different possibilities I dont know how to enter the info myself. I
checked the properties for the link in the games explorer as well as the
desktop icon but no luck.

I like the games explorer, but being able to customize it more like adding
subfolders or changing the game info would be great. Is there something I'm
missing, or is this feature of Vista just lacking?

Games the explorer recognizes:
Medieval 2 Total War
Supreme Commander
LoTR Online
City of Heroes

Games it doesnt recognize:
biohazard 4
Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries
Command and Conquer 3 Demo
