copying files

Why is copying files sooo slow in Vista? I'm just trying to copy files from
a CD to my documents and it's taking forever.

Also, unzipping a puny 6 mb .zip file to my documents took 15 minutes!

Is your Vista indexing files ? Take that feature off.
