Re: reading ISO files - MSFT own app fails in Vista
Alcohol 52% works: http://trial.alcohol-soft.com/en/ (I'm using the
crippled, free version). What gets me, is that Vista doesn't have the
capability to mount ISOs built in, but Microsoft's Virtual PC does. Why
haven't they included this capability into Vista? I don't want anything
fancy: just the ability to mount and use an ISO file like a CD/DVD (after
all, Microsoft's TechNet downloads all come as ISOs). In most cases, I have
no need (or desire) to burn the CD/DVD. I just need to mount it.
