Windows Explorer Copying Files
When I use the right mouse button to drag a file from a folder in the right
pane to another folder in the navigation pane I see a + symbol in front of
"copy" now in Vista's Windows Explorer. Once I have settled the cursor over
the destination folder this will pop up. Is there a key that can be pressed
when this shows to confirm the file copy? Is this meant to make file copying
more accurate and less "chancey" depending on the users mouse ability
accuracy?
Thanks,
JonK

Re: Windows Explorer Copying Files
Hi, Jon.

Yes, that plus symbol gives us more precise control over the Copy
destination. There is also a bit of text there showing the name of the
destination folder, but sometimes we have to hover for a moment to let it
appear. And sometimes the + is a line showing where the copy will end up.
After you release the right mouse button, you should see a small context
menu where you can confirm that you want to Move the file (deleting it from
its former location) or to Copy it (ending up with two copies, both there
and here).

I, for one, appreciate this additional guidance because sometimes my aim is
off a bit.
