File details disappeared

I have quite a few MP3 files on my hard drive, and all have complete ID3
tags. For some odd reason, when I opened those folders to view my files
there was no information showing except the file name. No “Title,
Artist, Album Title, Genre, Duration, Bit Rate, etc.”...

I have already selected the "Details" view in Explorer. So it’s not
that simple. It’s just that the info no longer shows like it always
has?!?!?!? Nor can I edit the "File Properties", as the Advanced option
is not available, only the Summary option.

When I open these files in a music program, like realplayer, this
information is still present. So I know the information is still there.
It just won't display in Windows Explorer for some reason.

Anyone have any ideas????

We'd love to help you but we can't since you are not posting on a real forum
as you think you are and you didn't quote any of the thread with the
original problem. You need to post back with a full description of your
issues (see the How To Post section below). You are using a web interface
that leeches Usenet posts and most of the rest of us are using real
newsreaders. We don't see what you do so your original post is not visible
here. If you want to participate in Usenet, the better way is to set up a
newsreader. This is very easy to do and I'll give you information about
that below. If you prefer to use a forum, then here are two excellent ones:

Since you are using a web interface, you may not realize that this is really
a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you learn to use
a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows, but you can use
Outlook Express (XP) or Windows Mail (Vista) since you already have it.
