Hide linux hidden files by default.

Hello,
Does anyone know how add a filter to vista explorer to hide
folders/files that by default are hidden in linux. ie. files and folders
starting with .

eg (i just installed the gimp)
Folder
homedir/.gimp-2.6/etc/...
File
homedir/.gitconfig

I don't believe there's any way to set such a specific filter. The closest
thing would be to manually mark these files as hidden and turn off 'show
hidden files and folders' in windows explorer. This would, of course, turn
off display of all hidden files and folders.
