Printing and using PDF function failure
Message: We have a new CPU, an HP Pavilion A1730N
We are using the trial version of Home and Student Office 2007
Microsoft will not let us access their help saying that the product ID
number for Office is invalid. Is that because I haven't bought it yet?
1. We can compose, save and print a new document in note pad or Word.
2. We can open saved documents in Word, Excel or as a PDF file from our
external hard drive or from attachments. We can cut, paste, save, and open a
document from a saved, old document or web site.
3.None of the documents which open and save in #2 will print fully, just the
top 2 to4 inches of the page. However, the attachments will open and print
at the local library. Documents in the print queque do not delete unles
computer is restarted.
4. We had been using Adobe Standard 7.0 to convert Word documents to PDF
files and were very pleased with Adobe. We were unable to use the
reinstalled Adobe on the new computer. Is there a way I can use Adobe
because it worked. While successfully loaded the OGAPlugin Instal.exe to
convert Word documents to PDF files, it doesn’t work. After the document
is composed, the "save as dialogue" box does not show PDF as an option. If
it can be patched to work will the PDF file it creates be as assessable as
the Adobe PDF files have been?
