Does "Restore previous versions" work with CompletePC Backup?

If I turn off System Restore on all drives, will "Restore previous versions"
still work.

If so, does "Restore previous versions" also take previous files and folders
from a CompletePC Backup?

Previous versions are either backup copies-copies of files and folders that
you back up by using the Back Up Files wizard, or shadow copies-copies of
files and folders that Windows automatically saves as part of a restore
point.

For more information, right click any file or folder, select the Previous
Versions Tab and click the "How do I use previous versions" link.
