Deleting Files

Ok here is the deal and it is very frustrating.

I have full control of the drive (F in this case).
Two Accounts, both full control.

I am trying to delete my old Norton Anti-Virus and it tells me I need
permission to delete the folder and its contents.
Once again i have full control of the drive. So i go into the folder
and try to delete the files 1 by 1 and it tells me the same thing.

Any ideas on how to get this folder deleted? Even the remove programs
doesn't work.

Re: Deleting Files
1. Have you tried booting into SAFE mode?
2. Also try turning off UAC control in the User Accounts in the Control
panel.
3. Be sure you have Administrator control.

Re: Deleting Files
How do you know you have full control of the drive?

Did you check all files and folders on that drive if not you can't say that.
If you just right clicked a drive all it says that, it means that in the
absence of any other security, files and folder will be full control.

Check the folders - check the files - dump norton even better. Use effective
Permissions ion the item you want to delete.
