Re: Is it possible in "computer" to view files from top to bottom in 1st column then same again in next column to the right etc?
I am trying to:
in "computer" to view the order of files by name from top to bottom in 1st
column then onto the next column on the right and seeing those files in the
order from top to bottom by name, and then onto the next column on the right
to that one and seeing those files listing by name from top to bottom of
that column etc?

*Rather than:
seeing the list of files in a folder from left to right on a line and then
down to the next line below where the files are again ordered by name from
left to right, and so on,like how you read a line of text.

I have tried doing the below:

> Views - tiles

> then
>
> Views - small icons

and it does not change the order of the files listed TO:
down columns rather than across the page, FROM being listed left to
right like how a line of text is read.

anyone know ???

THANKS

As far as I know, that's the DEFAULT view when you select LIST for
your view. When I do that, I get exactly what you want. Don't have
to play with anything.
