How to recover rights to folders

I removed rights from admins to a folder and I am unable to make any
changes to the rights now. How can I recover those rights?

Re: How to recover rights to folders

Hello x64FFFF,

You may need to take ownership of the folder first, then you should be
able to change the permission levels. This tutorial will show you how to
if needed.

Hope this helps,

Re: How to recover rights to folders
A "owner" you can reset attributes to any file you own. You can use file
"properties" to view and modify read, hidden, archive. You can also review
and modify advanced rights and permissions on any file you own.

If you are unsure of what rights you need, find a similar file, view the
rights then make the object file the same. Besides the GUI there is also
command line. check Help Attrib /?
