Open File With - Disaster
Hi
Somebody managed to associate the .zip extension in Windows Explorer with
Adobe so every time they click on a zip it brings up Adobe and crashes. I
cannot find a way to remove an invalid association such as this, nor can I
find a way to add back the zipped file type. I have managed to force a
partial solution by adding the Explorer.exe from the C:\Windows directory as
an option but I would rather have a proper fix than this kludge.
My best guess is that they right clicked on one zip file then doubleclicked
on "open with" which of course did not have an association so it grabbed the
alphabetical first item Adobe. A bit of a hassle as all MYOB backups are
zips.
Thanks
Vista Ultimate
