Folders : Vista to XP

Is there a way to move folders from Vista to XP. I have a Pictures
folder on my Vista machine I want to move to my XP SP3 Laptop. I put
the folder on a thumb drive and when I get to XP the properties show
there is something on the drive but it doesn't show on Windows Explorer.
Any help will be appreciated.m Thank you.

Copy the data to your thumb drive.
