Why cant i use details view as default?!?

Ohh, yeah. Forgot to mention:

That tab is not pressent at the root of the system drive(partition),
or on the system folders Windows and Programms in the system root.

Probaly something to do with protection af system. (?).

In Vista, 'Apply to Folders' now works on a per-template basis: All Items,
Documents, Pictures, Music Icons, Music Details & Videos can each have
different default settings. So you'll need to use 'Apply to Folders' once
for each folder type.

This setting is under the 'View' tab in the Folder Options dialog -- not the 'Customize' tab of the
folder's Properties dialog.
