Error Updating File Properties from the Detail Pane

When I try to change the file properties of SOME files using the detail pane
I recieve the following error message:
"An unexpected error is preventing the operation. Make a not of this error
code, which might be useful if you get additional help to reslove this
problem:

Error 0xC00D0026: No error description avaliable"

I have checked the file properties and it is not write protected.

I can change the properties on most files but a few just return this error
message.

This error message seems to be indicating a problem with the file itself, in
my case a MP3 file. Interestingly, this file plays successfully using VLC
media player but Windows Media Player reports a problem with the codec.

Anyway, I resolved the problem by transcoding the file to another MP3 file.
This seems to fix the cause of the original error message.

um hi.. im facing the same problem as well.
and may i ask how exactly you do "transcoding the file to another MP3
file."
