RE: Vista virtualized folder
Hi Ger,
yes this is a security feature in windows vista ,as when u download the file
the file is routed to the virtualised folder which is a hidden folder As this
is an adobe product plz refer the Article number :Unable to find or start the
installer after you download a product from the Adobe Store (Windows
Vista):kb402738
Step to get the virtual folder :
Go to Control Panel /folder options(Classic View)
Under Folder Option Check- Show Hidden Files and Folders
Uncheck -Hide Extension for Know File Types
Click Run -Copy this path :%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary
Internet Files\Virtualized
Click ok
This will open the Virtual Folder - Within this click the Folder named
C:/select the folder name Users:/
Within this folder u will see a folder with the username : (Within 1 of
these folders u will have the file )
Note :In vista if You tried to save the file to the Desktop ,Vista will
create a new Folder named Desktop under the Vitrualised Folder
So ger best of luck and let me know if this resolves ur prob
