deleting multiple favorites

Is there a way to delete a favorite without the drop down menu disappearing
with every deletion?

Hi,

Pin the favorites menu by hitting the small green arrow top-right of the
favorites box.

An easier way is to press the star with the green + sign on it, then select
Organize Favorites. So simple I completely forgot about it!
