rename file

When I tried to move a folder I received an error message that said the file
name was too long. When I right click on the file, I do not get the RENAME
option. So I am stuck with a file in Temporary Files that will not move and
will not rename, Is there another way to rename the file?

You could run the Disk Cleanup utility and check to remove all temporary
files. See if that helps.

Perhaps we do it the " long " way. Open the folder to display the contain.
Right click and choose NEW. Now you have a new folder which you can choose a
"shorter" name, drag the contain into the newly named folder. Delete the "too
long" folder. Now you won't have any problem moving it.
