Windows Explorer: Tools...Folder Options... View Tab "Apply to Folders" will
make all folders of the same type as the currently applied template like the
current one, i.e. it modifies the template for you.
In your case, just set it up as you want it and choose "Apply" and it should
propagate to all folders with that template *opened subsequently"
I have not found or heard of any other way to modify the templates - let
alone create one's own (which would be nice)
