Can you tell us HOW you are trying to transfer the files. Are these data
files (.jpg, .mp3, .doc, .txt, etc.) or executables (.exe, .dll, etc.) or
both? Which commands are you using? (Copy? Move? Xcopy? Backup/Restore?)
You know, of course, that a game or other application usually can't just be
copied to a new computer and run immediately. It must be installed from the
original media onto the new computer so that the new operating system can
handle any required Registry entries and other installation chores.
Tell us more about your hardware, software and methods and we should be able
to spot where the process is going wrong. Simply "I tried everything" and
"doesn't work" give us no clues at all to work with. :^{
