The Temp folder should be here:

C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\Temp.

The AppDat is normally a hidden folder, so you may need to select
Organize/Folder and Search Options/View Tab. Select the "Show hidden files
and folders" option.

Let us know if you need more help.

Thanks alot - that got me the Temp list - but I can't identify the attachment
in the list.
Where else might it be or would it be one of the trillions with a codifiied
name ie HD something?
i've re-done the lost work now but on the other hand I'm determined to
extend my competence - even a bit!

You would need the exact name of that file to find it.

The main thing you want to do is get in the habit of saving an attachment
that you intend to edit to a known location on the hard drive. Then you can
open the file directly from that location and you will avoid this situation.

Re: How can I find Temp files in AppData
Ronnie,

How is Vista Ultimate handling streaming vids? They don't seem to be
getting saved in the temp folder cache. On my XP machine they are saved to
the temp internet folder. On my Vista machine they aren't. Do I need to
change a setting or is Vista handling them differently?
