Moved Contacts to C:\Users over my profile and I have a copy of my profile under my profile in the explorer only.

I don't know how I did this but I have my user profile showing up under my
user profile when looking at it in the explorer, but it isn't showing up in
the file system like that. How do I get rid of this extra profile folder
that keeps showing up in my home folder when I open up my home folder from
the start menu? Remember it is only when looking at it in the home folder
in windows, not when you go to the file system and go to your profile
folder.

I also moved my contacts folder back to my profile but I accidentally moved
it to the same location as my profile and I don't have a contacts folder
anymore and don't know how to make another one. I keep getting new contacts
in my C:\Users\<Profile> directory too. How do I tell the system where my
contacts folder is by assigning it another folder and getting the icon back
as well?

This is a highly complex system and it can be easily messed up if you have
any IT experience.

From yopur description, it's not real clear what you are seeing?

When you open Windows Explorer, you should see your user profile folder at
the top of the Navigation Pane on the left side of the window. This same
folder also exists in the C:\Users\your username. These are not duplicate
folders. The folders at the top of the navigation pane are simply a mirror
copy of the actual folders that exist at C:\Users\your username. They are
mirrored there for convenience.

If you want the user folder at the top of the navigation pane to show the
same folders that you see in the C:\Users location, you need to go to
Organize/Folder and Search Options/View Tab. Select the Show Hidden Files
and Folders option there.

I have attached a picture of the 2 user explorer folders, 1 user folder
showing the users in the C:\user folder on the file system, and 1 user
profile folder showing what is in C:\Users\Josh Young folder. If you look
at the address bar where it shows you the explorer version of the location
it shows my username "Josh Young" twice (another one under my user profile).
This means that somehow the system has be tricked into thinking that there
is another user folder under my profile when actually on the file system
there isn't.

I think I did this by accidentally moving my user folder on to the C:\Users
folder instead of creating a folder by the same name as my profile name like
C:\Users\Josh Young and then moving to C:\Users\Josh Young instead of
C:\Users. I know your thinking why the hell would you do this... I'll tell
you why lol. I was just trying to see if I could move my user profile
location to my storage drive so I don't ever have to backup being that it is
instantly done everytime I do anything. Well that doesn't work too well
obviously, but I have moved most of my subfolders under my profile to the
storage drive and it keeps me from having to run a process schedule for
backing up all the time when it does it instantly as I change my files.

I have duplicate pictures in my Windows Vista photo gallery.When I delete one
they both are deleted. How do I correct so only one is deleted

What folders or sections are these pictures in?
Do they have the same, exact name?
