Vista won't cache passwords

I have problems with on a couple of machines where Vista won't cache the
passwords. I get prompted every time even if I select the option to remember
the password.

Has anyone seen this?

What program? This is a known problem with Outlook 2002.

I have Vista Ultimate 32bit and I have the same problem with Outlook
2007. My profile became corrupt and Vista TRIED unsuccessfully to
recover it. After creating a new profile and reconnecting my mailboxes
outlook started to remember my passwords again.

My question is Where does Vista store the passwords in my profile? I
would much rather delete that file than have to recreate my whole
profile.
