COM Surrogate
Each time i enter a folder, wherein some video contents reside, i get the
message <<COM surrogate has stopped working>> i think the problem might be
with the video previewer function.
is there any solution for the same ? or any means to bypass it ? making the
folder display the files it contains in the 'details mode' will sure but
bypass the problem anyway ... but i do wanna keep some folders in the
thumnails or large icons format ...
please advise.
thank you.

Re: COM Surrogate
I have Vista 32 Bit, i had the same problem earlier today. I did my own research and found that with vista 32 it is mandatory to have Dep enable for security purposes. You could disable it but it would be at your own risk. The instructions that were given below didn't work for me even when i logged in as admin. Maybe you will have better luck. I'm still trying here. I uninstalled nero that was NOT giving me the problem i don't even use that program. Every time i try to use Winamp, Windows media Player or try to convert a dvd using Pazera i get Com surrogate has stopped. This has been happening on and off, but more today. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
