Forgot the Administrative Password

I am the only person who uses my computer. I got tired of having "if you
started this" question so I made myself a Standard User and created another
name as the Administrator. I forgot the password for the Administrator I
created and now can't do anything online except go to Microsoft or Gateway.
The question is now. How do I get rid of the Administrator without the
password? Everything I try I get "You do not have Authhority ".
Gateway told me something about a Silencer button to hold for 30 seconds,
but I can only find Mute and that didn't work. I can't even turn off the
User Control. Is there a special Silencer? When I try to go online. Internet
explorer will not let me connect. I tried using msconfig and that was not
allowed either. Frustration is not the word for this mess. Help!!
