problem with pen drive

my usb pen drive has a problem .

I have this problem as well sometimes. It usually happens when I
insert
my mercury usb pen drive of 4 gb.

It has Something to do with the computer not the flash drive, because
if
i put my flash drive in my vista home computer , its asks do u want to
want to scan and fix.
But on my vista ultimate 32bit laptop it doesnt?

And yes it drives me nuts
