Defense Against Boot Disks?
I have several users that keep using a linux boot disk to reset the administrator password. Short of encrypting the entire disk with a program like Safeboot, is there anyway I can stop them?

My thought is maybe moving the registry hive that stores the passwords? is that possible, or would the linux boot disk be able to see them where ever I move them?

Any suggestions are appreciated

Jeff

Re: Defense Against Boot Disks?
in the BIOS of the computers, remove floppy and CD from the bootable
devices.
in the BIOS set the BIOS change/access passwords.

Secure the password(s) in safe place not accessible to the users.

Ban access for these users altogether until they can behave.
