Vista Upgrade - don't know password or username
I installed Vista, entered the key in and pretty much walked away for the
rest of the evening.

Today I come in and I don't know the password to the username it created for
me. I obviously can't reset my password because I didn't set the password.

What do I do?

How can I log in as a different user?

Confused....

RE: Vista Upgrade - don't know password or username
I assume this was an upgrade, because standard Vista setup always prompts you
for a username and password to create a new account. It would have stopped
setup on that screen.

So, try a blank password, or the password you used prior to upgrade.
