User Account Control
I am confused by UAC. I want to create a shared network folder called share
in C:\Share. I have a folder on my Desktop that contained files I wanted to
make available to other users on my local network.
I created the folder C:\Share.
I then opened my computer and browsed to C:\Share, which I have full control
of.
I try to move the folder from my desktop to the newly created c:\share and I
dont have permissions to do that. Ok...
I run a command window as administrator I try the move command, it replies
with access denied. I check permissions, I have full control of both folders.
I then turn off UAC, now I can move the folder with no problems.
My question is this. How can I do this without turninig off UAC.
