Diagnostic Policy Service
Is there any way to reinstall the administrative tools without having to reinstall Vista? I had a Trojan and now I have some services that I can't start.
The Diagnostic Policy Service will not start either automatic or manual.
There are a couple more not working but the diagnostic is the most important. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Diagnostic Policy Service
Are you very certain that all malware has been removed? If so, try running
sfc /scannow in an elevated command prompt.

Re: Diagnostic Policy Service
I apologize for not responding before now. I thought I had profile to receive email when I received a reply.

Well I assume that I have all the maleware/virus off my computer. I have run several different free virus scanners and maleware removal programs. Nothing shows up.

I notice that event.log and a couple other services are not working. I have run the sfc /scannow as adminstrator and everything shows ok.
